B Mini-Track and B User Group Meeting Paper Call for Papers

Papers are called for the B Mini-Track and the B User Group Meeting of FM'99.

Papers for inclusion in the B Mini-Track of FM'99 will be refereed as papers submitted to the FM'99 Technical Symposium and must be submitted to Dr James Woodcock, the FM'99 Technical Symposium co-chair by 14 February 1999.

Papers which do not fit the B Mini-Track will be considered for the B User Group Meeting.

An additional copy of each paper submitted to the B Mini-Track and a copy of each paper submitted to the B User Group Meeting should be submitted to the B Mini-Track/B User Group Co-Chairs. Papers should be no longer than 20 pages and should be formatted for Springer LNCS. Copies of papers submitted to the B Co-Chairs should preferably be in electronic form.

14 May 1999:

Notice of acceptance for the B Mini-Track of the Technical Symposium or for the B User Group Meeting;

14 July 1999:

Final paper for the B Mini-Track in camera-ready form due.

Areas of Interest for B Mini-Track and B User Meeting

The following is a non-exclusive list of areas in which papers are invited:

• Industrial experience: experiences in the application of the B Method in an industrial context. This includes, not only technical aspects of the application, but also issues of training, and evaluation.
• Development of the B Method: modifications and extensions of the B Method and the B/AMN notation to extend the areas of application.
• Case Studies: the development of substantial case studies that illustrate the application of the B Method to particular applications domains.
• Education: significant use of, or experiences with, B at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Tools: tool development for assisting with the application of the B Method.
• Cross method developments: experiences with the use of B in conjunction with other formal or informal methods.
